Open House Bingo Feedback

The Marketing Memo: Creative Feedback with Open House Bingost

May 30, 20252 min read

Let’s face it... getting feedback after an open house can be a challenge. And even when you do get it, it’s often vague, generic, or just not that helpful. (“They liked it but didn’t love it.” Thanks, Susan.)

This week, I’m sharing a creative solution I came up with: Open House Bingo—a fun, low-pressure way to collect specific, useful feedback from everyone who walks through the door.

Open House Bingo for Real Estate Agents

Why I Created It

After reading yet another post about agents not giving feedback, I started thinking... What if we made it more engaging? What if we incentivized people to give honest, room-by-room feedback?

That’s how Open House Bingo was born.

How It Works

  • Each attendee—buyer, agent, or even kid—gets a Bingo card.

  • Each square is labeled with a room in the home (e.g., kitchen, living room, primary bath).

  • The guest writes one piece of feedback per room.

  • Once all squares are filled, they can trade in their card for a prize (or enter to win a bigger one).

It turns an awkward task into a fun activity—and you walk away with actual insights to help your seller.

Why It Helps You Stand Out

This isn’t your average open house. You're not just offering cookies—you’re giving attendees a memorable experience. The bonus? You’ll gather detailed, specific feedback that can be passed on to your seller or even used in a future marketing post. Imagine: “We took your suggestions and updated the kitchen lighting—come see the glow-up this Saturday!”

What You’ll Need

  • Printed Bingo cards (you can grab my Canva template below!)

  • Pens

  • Small prizes or raffle items

  • A box or bowl for collecting cards

💌 Bonus Tip: Customize your card to collect names and contact info for easy follow-up.

You’ll need a free Canva account to access and customize the template. Make it your own—swap out room names, colors, or branding.

Final Thought: Creative marketing doesn’t have to be complicated. Start by identifying a challenge, then ask: “How can I make this more fun, more valuable, or more memorable?” Add a splash of creativity and you’re golden.

Let me know if you try it—I’d love to see your version of Open House Bingo in action!
